Hey, I just wanted to let you know, even though you went crazy and I have no idea why, you made a pretty cool Mad King.
I mean Mad Queen.
And I'm sorry I justice teabagged you even though you kind of deserved it.
Anyway, I don't now if going crazy was your inflictions, but I went ahead and sent you some bananas. Hopefully the guards will let u have them. I know your probably thirsty. Also if this is some kind of cry for help I can give u the card to the retreat i went to. Judgment free.

what the hell is up with yang and her hair
[Yang's sitting on her (which is Weiss's technically) couch, hair wrapped up in a towel with a few blonde tufts escaping, wrapped snugly in a robe. She looks pretty damn happy despite coming back from that mission to Attleton she'd mentioned before.]
Hey! So, just so you know? If you ever get tired of the whole gabbing to you about Mercury thing, you can just say so. 'Cause I know I've been doing that a loooooot...
[She says, glancing off to the side. It's so obvious she's dying to say more, but she definitely doesn't want to be annoying. She just wants someone to squee at/with.]

[Qubine's irritated face comes up on the screen...more irritated than usual. It likely isn't hard to guess what he's about to bring up.]
Weiss...I truly apologize for bringing this upon you, but...
[Part of him feels guilty for bringing this up to her. He doesn't want her to feel responsible for Winter's behavior, because he knows she isn't. But he feels the need to vent, and while Weiss hasn't quite reached "friends" status with him (no one has, really), she seems sensible enough to listen, and to listen to.]
...Is your sister always such an inflated peacock?
[He'll probably be referring to Winter by all kinds of names...anything but her actual name. She hasn't even earned that much respect. Qubine is curious as to how Winter turned out that way, what sort of training or experiences she's had that made her who she is. But it wouldn't matter if he knew or not.]

[There are just some things that Winter cannot express with her voice. Certainly she's never hesitated to scold her sister or express disappointment. But this is the first time it feels as if their relationship has become fragile and threatened. So she writes, because the beauty of her calligraphy is far softer than her harsh and straightforward mannerisms. So she writes.]
Dear Weiss,
I know that my silence has caused you some distress. Know that doing so was not my intention; rather, I have kept silent because I do not trust myself to speak without fear that I may utter something deeply regretful, something I do not truly feel. You do not care for my brisk mannerisms, I know, so perhaps a written communication may prove more agreeable.
Make no mistake. I am grievously displeased at your conduct over these communicators. While comparing my actions to our father (a claim I cannot truly agree with) could not possibly cause me insult, it distresses me that you would even attempt to cause harm for the sake of proving a point. Furthermore, because you judged your point to be far more important than the career I obtained, and your care for me as a sister, you made several vicious claims which, I must say, did not truly bear any fruit, and gave benefit to none. It was poorly done, and wounded my trust in you to such a degree that I find myself questioning whether I could even consider you a confidant -- you, the only one in which I felt I could truly admit my unease in being in such a world. You have grown comfortable here. I have not yet lingered long enough to share that comfort, and your actions have shaken my beliefs that I could ever hope to grow easy here.
But perhaps that is for the best. I should not wish to grow lax in my efforts to return to my duties.
Perhaps you meant to chide so that others would decide to like me, as you do. I have no desire to gain the approval of fools. Those with the patience and temperance to understand my message without taking personal offense are the only ones with which I wished to continue a conversation. Surely you witnessed the sheer number of responses that were little more than knee-jerk reactions or a pitiful attempt to establish dominance and superiority with anger and insults. Let them wither in their arrogance, I do not care for their opinions.
Or, instead, you thought to lash out because you believe I truly did fail you during your brief stint as the Mad Queen of Nova City. A captain of the royal guard of Fayren would not be obligated to respond to such a situation; the vast difference in technology as well as access to resources could not possibly link to one another. But as a sister, it is true. I failed to recognize the true danger, instead believing that you had managed to glean a little personal entertainment. It seemed little more than an amusing game to me, and I had no wish to intervene. It is rare to see you happy. So I stayed my hand.
Even so, I cannot easily forgive the guardians who knew the dangers and made no effort to convey a warning to the public. Attleton in particular remained egregiously lax, which in turn led to a great many tragedies, including that of at least one of Fayren's deputy guardians. You may suppose that I was overly harsh in my condemnation, but you must believe that I spoke as gently as I was able. If anything, I do not believe I was nearly harsh enough in my criticism. They failed the people they had a responsibility to protect. They failed my family. Until I see a genuine effort made to improve, I will keep my judgments, and there is nothing further to be done to persuade my feelings to the contrary.
This letter grows long, and I confess that my soul is weary. I hope this grants you better understanding. We may not agree on many things, but do not think that my love for you is in any way jeopardized. You are my sister, and I will never cease striving to protect you and attempting to give you the insight I lacked when I chose my path. The time will come when you will no longer require either of these things. Perhaps the day has already come and passed.
I Remain Forevermore Your Sister,
Winter Schnee
[The letter is neatly folded with two crisp, perfect lines, placed in an ivory envelope, and sealed with a dark blue wax that bears the captain's seal, as she lacks her family's own.]

Surely your bounty hunting excursion was not so difficult as all this. Have you been lax in your training? Or did you become...sidetracked...with your significant other?
I expect a status update within the hour.

I can't find Yang and she's not answering any of my messages. When did you last see her?
[Yang's calling. When/if Weiss answers, Yang speaks in a hushed tone, as if she's in a library or somewhere else where quiet is demanded.]
Hey, just wanted to say I'm sorry for running off as soon as I woke up. I was kind of...you know.
[Freaking excited to see Mercury again after a year apart.]
So just checking in to see if you and Sun are okay. And to say thanks, for keeping me sane all that time. It meant a lot to me.

Hey, Weiss. Where are you? I have a anniversary gift for you.
Though I know it technically hasn't come up, though it kind of has. [Dream time makes things weird.]

[Jacques has had just about enough of Weiss’ disrespect, and it's high time she pay the price. The engagement to Sun is the last straw, the last act of defiance she'll ever pull. So while she thinks he's come over for a nice little chat about the ordeal, he has something entirely different in mind.
Now, he's not unreasonable. If Weiss renounces her commitment to the faunus right here, right now, he'll step back. Bit he's pretty sure her stubbornness won't relent, so he's brought a couple of orderlies from the Sunny Oaks Psychiatric Hospital ready act on his orders to sedate Weiss and bring her in. There's a psychologist who's working on a cognitive reconstruction who Jacques had “convinced” to use Weiss as his first human test subject. With any luck, she’ll be back as she was before she left for Beacon in just few days time.
It's for her own good, really. She should have just listened to him.
The two orderlies, disguised as bodyguards, are flanking him when he rings the bell.]

Miss Schnee, I apologize for the lack of communication as of late, but I understand congratulations are in order on your engagement.
Should you be interested, I would like to invite you to Castlevania for a feast in your honor, as well as gauging your progress with your summoning ability.
I also noticed that you mentioned not feeling too well, to which I would gladly grant you access to the various potions I have at my disposal, or if the idea of alchemical potions are not to your taste, I'm sure my wife would be glad to help find a medicine to help.

[Jacques, despite having donned the mysterious mask to see how it looked on him, remembers what he’s done. And frankly, he is appalled. To think that he would ever do anything to harm his baby girl? He has no idea what came over him, but he has to make it right. He has to make sure Weiss knows how much she means to him.
So he’s shown up on her doorstep Sunday morning in what might very well be the most casual thing Weiss has ever seen him in. His security detail is standing outside the car, watching him; after what happened with Jaune they're not letting him out of their sight, even when Jacques had insisted that he didn't need them to protect him from his daughter. In his arms he holds 3 foot teddy bear holding a heart with the words “I’m beary sorry” printed on it and reservations for brunch at the classiest joint Genessia has to offer. He’s also picked up three tickets to an opera that evening, intending to invite Sun along to join them so that he can get to know his future son-in-law.
He’s nervous, though. He knows that he messed up really badly, and Weiss and Sun have every right to kick him out of their lives. But Weiss disowning him? Why, that would crush him more than anything else in the world possibly could. He can only hope that she can find it in her heart to forgive him.
Taking a deep breath, he rings the doorbell.]

Hey, how does your sister feel about hiking? Is she a fan?
Your reflexes have improved. Most impressive.
Merry Christmas! I know you still don't want to talk to me, but I sent you and your fiance a couple of gifts, so if they haven't arrived yet keep an eye out! Love you!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm preparing to go to the Dream Docks.
[And weirdly, there are no typos now. THANKS GARRUS!]
Just so you know, you don't die. And on this side of the fence, Mercury and I are okay.

8AM
[Starting the day with a bathsoap giftset for her. It is left on the kitchen table with a bow on it and her name, as if it needed to be stated that it is hers.] ]
12PM
[At 12 PM he has flowers delivered to her with her name on the card and “Mystery Faunus” as the sender.]
3PM
[Next he has a huge box of chocolates delivered to her. Don’t eat them all at once and be sure to save him some.]
5PM
[Next he has a folder with an image of a horse in it waiting for her on the coffee table in the living room. There are notes and documentations that says she is the owner and that it is a little over 8 months old. It is being housed in Fayren at a Horse Breed’s place. Sun stats that they owed him for some of the work he’s done and they’ve offered him horses before. He says he purchased this foal though and they will be keeping and housing him for Weiss and Sun. Sun is going to pay them monthly for it, but he wouldn’t mind trying to set up a place in Nova City for a stable. Maybe buy the land near their place and set up one there and possible get one more horse so he has a friend?]
7PM
[Next is a Wine giftsets that he got for her. He asked the guy at the store and he said these were good ones. The are left on the kitchen counter with her name on them.]
10PM
[Lastly, he knows Weiss enjoys singing so he bought her a Karaoke Machine for their home. They can have friends over for their own Karaoke nights.]

[She debated on using text or audio, but she figures that would just make Weiss worry more. So she's just going to trust her friend in this. After all they've gone through, in Remnant and this world both, she really shouldn't have much to hide. (Except for Raven being the spring maiden, of course.)]
I'm not sure if you were told or not. Mercury's not here anymore. I'm fine for the most part, just...
[Her shoulders lift as she takes a deep breath, turning her head as she frowns in silence for a while.]
A little angry, truth be told. And I know it's dumb. Can't help it. Anyway, I don't want to talk about it too much--
[She waves her hand briefly.]

Is Whitley with you? He didn't come home last night and he's not answering his phone. It's very unlike him.
