[ After hearing about Mercury, Weiss really doesn't want it to be the case that Whitley is gone too. Losing multiple people all in one week was rough, and she didn't want it. So while she didn't respond to Jacques text for a while, it wasn't because she wasn't planning on it- she was checking. Asking the CPU was the easiest way to tell, and yet she didn't.. want to deal with this. It took her about 40 minutes to actually get back to Jacques. ]
CPU says he went home. Which means he's in Atlas and he won't remember this place, OK?
[ She's not going to say he's safe because, well, Weiss doesn't believe that. But she doesn't want to get into a fight over it. Especially when she's not sure if Jacques is actually worried or not. ]
