I thought about what you said. About finding another weapon. I know you told me not to mess with Dust but I decided to try it anyway but I'm not strong like Yang so I can't...
I was hoping you had something with a sharp point. Something thin and sharp to put into the ice, then use the hole to wedge it open. Or something to melt it with, but given what you accidentally did with ice I'm not too keen to suggest you use red dust. Where are you?
I don't know if this will make you feel better or frustrate you more, but I didn't take any red dust. You know that place that serves really good waffles in Nova City? [He gives her the name.] I'm near there.
How's your aura doing? Prolonged exposure to ice is going to tick away at it as your body fights off the change in body temperature to prevent hypothermia or frost bite.
[ Weiss is fairly certain that their jokes are just their way of proving they're doing okay to each other. One tease to start is to ask, a joking response is a yes. ]
I think there's some in the freezer at home. [ He can probably hear her car starting up. It should be too long of a wait since she was working. ]
[Can Weiss hear the shrug in his voice? He just wants to prove it to her, or get her to accept it. Right now, pretending is easier than facing anything.]
Are you sure no one ate them by now? There weren't that many when I checked. [He wonders what could convince Weiss to let him borrow her car.
Ruby and my teamwork was not great then. She jumped in front of me after I had already released the Dust, I had to redirect it. The forest suffered. To be fair, it probably helped us get out of being surrounded by at least 10 Beowolves which.. back then was a bit of an issue, particularly given our inability to work together back then.
With.. waffles, I suppose. [ He's so weird. She parks her car and gets out. She saw him on her way by, but there wasn't a spot to park. She crosses her arms and watches him for a brief moment, taking in the situation. ]
On the side, not part of the waffles, you dope. Lean back as far as you can without falling over. They sell waffles and fried chicken, why not waffles and fried tofu?
[ She's going tog et as close to his legs as possible so she doesn't bust it open and knock him on his ass, but if he doesn't lean back she's going to have her sword like at his dick and she doesn't think he'd appreciate that. ]
[ Sharp and hot. Weiss raises Myrtenaster up and uses her full body weight to slam the tip down and through the ice, probably a couple of inches before either of his legs in the middle, then slowly lets some of the red dust trickle out so it heats up her sword rather than causes a fire. Very rapidly, it starts to melt and Weiss slowly starts to move Myrtenaster through the ice and around his legs. She doesn't go all the way down to his legs, just enough that it looks like the ice has weakened significantly, then she turns back and goes around the other side before pulling it out and backing up. ]
Okay, stand up straight and kick your feet a few times, it should break up.
It's grey and looks nothing like food. You don't think it does?
[Most of his effort is made toward staying calm and keeping his balance and not screwing it up for Weiss. He flinches when he first hears the slam and stands back up to follow her directions.
He kicks the ice way too hard, a few chunks flying.]
Thanks.
[He's annoyed with himself but he's trying not to show it. He withdraws the rest of the Dust he...borrowed, offering it to her.]

[Voice]
[ Jaune what. ]
[Voice]
How do I break the ice?
[Voice]
What's around you that you can reach?
[Voice]
[Voice]
[ She'll come save him. ]

[Voice]
[ Though they're going to have a talk about why he chose ice to nearly kill himself with. ]
I'll be there soon. [ And then she tries to joke just a little. ] Don't go anywhere before I get there.
[Voice]
I don't know, I kind of want waffles. [See? He can joke back.]

Probably nothing.]
[Voice]
[ She knew being frozen wouldn't hurt Jaune for a long while. He was made of tougher stuff, even if he didn't always show it. ]
The plain ones, not the chocolate chip ones. I hid the plain ones in the back since I'm the only one who eats them.
Re: [Voice]
[He hasn't been keeping track Weiss.]
Hmm. That might work if I put chocolate bacon on them.
[Voice]
[ That's why she asked about his aura. She knows enough about ice to figure it out. ]
That's so disgusting.
[Voice]
It's delicious and nutritionally assorted.
[Voice]
[ Very, very carefully administered, of course. By Weiss. Who actually knows how to use it. ]
There's no added nutrition in those ingredients. Just put fruit on it.
[Voice]
Fruit's okay. Fruit with sausage is better.
[Voice]
[ He can probably see her car pulling up to the approximate area.. ]
How about... fried tofu? [ She'll get him to eat healthier, even if she has to promise frying it to get him halfway there. ]
[Voice]
[He waves, even though she might not see him.]
Fried tofu with waffles or by itself?

Tofu waffles sound terrible. What's wrong with you?
[Most of his lower half is encased in ice. Which makes nervous fidgeting challenging. But he can shrug.]
I think I aimed wrong.

[He leans back as far as he can, arms outstretched, until he reaches the point where he'll end up halfway at a handstand if he leans back any more.
He'd rather not have anything sharp at his dick.]
