The forest might have spirits that would feel disrespected or would be out of their homes if we did that. Just because our world doesn't have them doesn't mean this one doesn't.
[ She sounds 100% serious about that. Look, she's learned from other cultures here alright. ]
No, believe me, I'd be happy to burn the cabin down but there are a lot of spirits in different worlds. Supposedly I look like the moon spirit from some worlds, and then there's one called Koh that takes peoples' faces. There's the Blue Spirit too, though he was a wanted criminal that some people believed to be a spirit. [ That's the story she's got to stick to. They're passing into Fayren now and Weiss slows down a little, looking like she's being more cautious despite what she said earlier. She keeps talking though, to try to keep her mind off of it. ] Halloween may sound stupid to a lot of people, but spirits exist in a lot of cultures from different worlds.
[His lips thin, eyes pained, and not just because they're in Fayren now. He tries to tear his gaze away from the window, but he can't. He's looking for threats. His voice feels thick when he speaks.] Do you know where they come from? Spirits? Are they just living things without a body, or do they come from somewhere else?
[ She shrugs slightly, driving more slowly. She's going to take a long route along the outside of the city until they're at the closest point and park it behind what looks like an abandoned home on the outskirts. It's not like they can drive all the way through a mideval-esque town. ]
I'm sure there are different types. Those that have always existed, those that became, ghosts. There are the ones in charge of this place too-- they're another different kind. I've never spoken to one personally, but I know people who have.
[They could have driven through a mideval-esque town if Jaune had done the driving, Weiss.]
That's a lot of different spirits. [It sounds like there are almost as many different kinds of spirits as there are Grimm. Maybe more.] We'll probably end up speaking to them at some point. Or you might. Since you're the leader. Especially with the research and everything.
I think that was the second time something like that happened and no one has caught the culprit.
[ out of the trunk she pulls what looks like a large old linen out. It's clearly to cover the car. She hands one end to jaune so he can help hide it. ]
[Is surprised Weiss owns anything like this to begin with. He waves it around too much to watch it float back down but he gets serious after doing that and helps Weiss.]
I trust Sun and that's what Sun said. He was there at the first one, he said someone came out of.. one of them, and ran when it was defeated. I was here for the second one.. there was no way that happened without someone instigating it.
[ Hey, she has to go to Fayren sometimes. It's easier to carry suitcases of Dust in the trunk of a car. She's not stocking for herself right now or she would've insisted they go get the suitcases- they'll just get what Jaune needs for now. Weiss eyes him for a moment while he's playing around, but rolls her eyes and lets it go once he starts doing it right. ]
Sun's been here longer than everyone else, but this place was here before that. Maybe this has been going on indefinitely. [He's not looking at Weiss anymore as he thinks out loud.] Did anything weird happen before that might be connected to both times?
[And then the fabric settles just like his sense of fun. His expression falls and he nods solemnly, hugging his arm.]

Re: action
I just hope it's before the next breach. Did anyone tell you about that? I want you all to be prepared.
[ Once parked, the turns off the car and pops the trunk. ]
Come on, we've got to walk from here. It's about 5 minutes.

[He hesitates and gets out, heading to the back of the trunk.]
