[...of course, some people are better than others at doing the team thing, but he's there and he listens, at least, that's something! Although he immediately looks a bit put out by that opening.
Great, the morbid type.
...although he brightens when it's about a mystery about dead people, not just... dead people.]
...ooh, int'resting, any evidence of how they were moved, I can check that out next time it happens, why, though, why the Bay, got the bit about telepathically restorative water, also int'resting, as an aside, but you get shot, all the telepathic restoration in the world won't help, well--probably not, anyway, stick a pin in that thought--but does it seem to help any, d'you have records, pictures?
[Sorry Weiss, the dramatic effect is completely lost on Spock.]
I am most curious as to the significance of the Bay as their location in addition to the reason as to why these individuals are moving the bodies in the first place. How were you able to ascertain this information?
[He turns his attention to Eleven now, his words intriguing him.]
I was unaware that the water of the Bay contained any telepathically restorative powers. I have never seen a liquid exhibit such a behavior. Would it be amicable for you to send me your research on the matter so that I might have a better understanding of the location of the situation?
I'm theorizing there is likely a facility under the bay where the revival process takes place. Perhaps it might also be where their method of bringing people in is, considering we all start there?
[ Ed has been studying this bit for a while. He keeps bringing up that they should pay attention to the dead (technically living or actually a corpse). People not dying for too long is apparently a theme in Gotham now but the methods here are completely different, quicker, leave absolutely no marks and far harder to trace.
He glances at The Doctor and Spock before excitedly pipping up. ]
A group comes and collects the bodies after approximately six days, last witnessed. They show up in rectangular cases around the body. White scrubs with red lining. Indistinguishable facial features. They grab the body and go all the way to the bay with it and down a chamber then- [ holds his hands up, fingers spread out ] Gone. No visible entry. The body in question shows up in good health some time after.
Doctor Moore and I were going to try to follow a body and do further research on this but it was put on hold since it's extremely rare to come across a corpse from a pendant wearer unless you commit murder. And she isn't here anymore.
[ Weiss squints her eyes and quirks a brow at Ed. Wow. he knows a lot already. She just gestures at him. ]
What Mr. Nygma said, but I thought it was about six hours, not days, and it should be noted that they all had pendants that looked exactly like ours except "rainbow." Whatever's used to keep people out apparently has some similar traits to the barriers around the cities, too.
[ Weiss looks over at the Doctor. ] Are you talking about how it helps people recover from the empty spirit attacks by splitting someone else's emotions with people who've been caught? And no, I don't have any of those. Unless Mr. Nygma does, all we have is hearsay, which is precisely why it's so important to keep it under wraps; I think we all want to avoid someone thinking murder is the solution to drawing them out.
[The Doctor flashes a smile over at Spock, but waits his turn, since Eddy has some input, as well as Weiss--and he snaps his fingers and points to her as she asks if that's what he's referring to.]
Haven't tested it, myself, tempting though, 'specially if we've got someone a bit telepathic, well... besides myself.
[He glances at Spock, at that, with a bit of an enigmatic smile, although he isn't about to explain any of the several reasons why just like that.]
Disappearing's int'resting, as well, probably not a teleport, th'way you describe it, usually a residual energy discharge from those, and anyway, this place seems more likely to have perception filters orrr a holographic blind, possibly even dimensional engineering--curved spaces, statistical membranes, that sort of thing--definitely worth investigating but like you say-
[He flashes a smile back to Weiss, at that.]
-can't exactly go about making dead people, probably ought to be at the ready in case one shows up, though.
[A nod to Ed for having the right idea already, there.]
Rainbow's int'resting, as well, obviously implies premier access, doesn't it, so, how much d'we actually know about these pendants, exactly? Guessing the short answer's, 'not enough' but whatever we've got could be important.
[So that's at least three avenues of investigation he's counting so far.]
Vulcans are telepaths. While I have not honed the ability to mastery yet, I might be able to be of some assistance. I would suggest we discuss the possibility after this discussion has concluded as to not veer from the main predicament we are facing.
Mr. Nygma, might I inquire as to why you kept this information to yourself and chose not to divulge it to another? Even with the lack of a dead body to use one of us might have been able to collect some more information had we known about this prior to this moment.
[And finally, to Weiss.]
Miss Schnee, I am uncertain as to the significance of the rainbow pendant. Most of us who were brought here contain pendants with more than one city's color; many contain all four. What makes these ones so much different from our own? Also, you mentioned the barrier is similar to that of the one that surrounds us in totality. Does this one also have a mechanism in play that renders anyone who gets to close to it unconcious?
[Spock pauses for a moment, looking at the room on faces.] There is one very obvious solution to the issue of us being unable to fabricate the dead body: one of us dies. While it may be considered highly unethical, we know with certainty that the person will come back to life so the harm is minimal. This would provide us the opportunity to study them up close.

[Congrats, he's Interested In The Problem.]
