[Satsuki pauses a moment followed by a sigh.]
My apologies, I am still pulling my thoughts together. Ragyo Kiryuin, a woman from my world, has recently arrived. It is only a matter of time before word gets out that I am present here and I would prefer to stay out of sight for.. Perhaps two weeks.
[Pause.]
Things are going to change for me and I need to prepare. I thought I was but it took her arrival to realize I have made a number of errors.
[ Weiss had spoken with her. Well, part of her had. Thankfully they hadn't spoken about Satsuki at all, though the last name did seem to be familiar. Names were something that could be repeated across worlds, but with Satsuki confirming they were from the same one.. ]
I'll give you three weeks and you can come back from your mission "early" if you're feeling up to it. I'll say I sent you on a search in Fayren in the Maw for a classified mission. People have spent ages in there and still haven't mapped that place, even if you actually went there, it'd be unreasonable to assume someone could find you without your direction. It ought to keep anyone from looking. I'll have to let Xander know so he doesn't think I'm sending people into his jurisdiction without permission, but it should be fine.
[ She pauses, hesitantly adding her assumption. ] I'm going to take a guess and assume Mother; you sound like me worrying about my father potentially coming here. [ This talk of preparation.. Weiss is wondering just what she could do personally if her father came here. She's definitely prepared a few people to know a few things about their relationship but with the way Satsuki's talking.. she's wondering if she shouldn't do more just in case too. ]
[Three? She'll certainly take it; and that Weiss even offered to go higher is a significant weight off her shoulders- More time to get her head mind straight.]
That.. [Is perfect. She shouldn't have expected any less, really and if she were in a better mood she'd even smile.] Yes. Thank you.
You would assume correctly. [The comparison to Weiss' feelings with her father is mildly unsettling, yet it somehow isn't all that surprising. The similarities that she sees between them has always left Satsuki wondering how deep that rabbit hole goes.] When I can figure out what point in time she is from my world, I can grant you some more information. For now all I can really say is to avoid being drawn in by her.. Charms. Back home her charisma is unmatched; though I do question if it would be as effective in this world.
I think.. it'd be a bad idea to underestimate anyone who isn't what they seem, whether they're as effective here or not. I'll look forward to your return and I'll be sure to keep on top of things here while you're gone.
