Have a message for Weiss or don't want to make a new post for a thread? Leave it here!
(If backdated, make sure to note the date and message type in the subject line!)
I mean, you can. You just have to make sure you don't die in the process. I highly recommend against it. But you do have to make choices sometimes that others might not agree with or will hold against you for a longer-term effect. Violence and shoving people in prison doesn't solve problems all the time.
Shut up. [His voice drops down to a whisper, the anger that's always there apparent, but this is...a little different.]
You think I don't fucking know that? [Everything is different here. People would barely bat an eye at his quirk and abilities and the only way to do anything about it is to learn about the abilities of others like Weiss so he can find a way to beat them and become the best.]
You literally called me, I'm not shutting up until you start acting like you know. I don't have to stay on the line, but I don't think your heart's in the wrong place entirely. But I need you to understand that I can't just come out and fight you all the time because I have other roles here- I run the welcoming services, which help people understand where they are and avoid panicked powered people from causing massive damage. I run the GSRF, which is an organization that's working on understanding this world and both finding a way home and a way to stay for those who want it. It's important to understand that protecting people is about more than fight "bad guys," and if you don't understand that, I'm not wasting my time on fighting you regardless. I wouldn't want someone who thinks the world is as simple as good versus evil to get stronger by my hands.
So, if you understand that, then we can talk. If not, you're welcome to hang up the phone and call me whatever crude names you want.
I couldn't... [He can't do anything, and that's his own fault and weakness.] How am I supposed to do any of it if I can't beat the best? What's this GSRF shit anyway?
I don't know, Katsuki. I already told you I'm hardly the best fighter. I'm surprisingly slow and I've died or nearly died at least twice. I've been kidnapped four times here alone. If I was the best Genessia had, we'd all be doomed. If you want to be the strongest, I doubt I'm the best person for you to ask. However, if you're looking for someone to teach you how to fight smarter, I may be able to help.
Died...? [Like, flatlined? No, he remembers reading about how death works in Genessia. It's unbelievable, but he won't pry about that or wounds to her pride. He knows all about that.]
I'm not quitting. Looks like you won't either. So Ice-sensei, I accept your offer.
But you didn't. [And that's all he says about that. If you don't get stronger from your defeats, then what does it matter?]
[What kind of deal is this? He grits his teeth and grumbles.] What kinda assignments? Will they be challenging? [He doesn't want to do them if they're not. Contrary to what people may assume with his behavior and vocabulary, he's actually a big nerd.]
[ Okay, Weiss is still a little upset about it and doesn't like talking about it but she's not going to let that show around a stranger.
She'll appreciate that when she finds out. ] They'll be what I think you need to work on. And they won't all be the same, so despite that I'm going to assign you an essay to start off with, don't expect them to all be sit-down assignments.

Re: Voice
What do you mean? It doesn't matter as long as I beat the villains.
Re: Voice
[ A brief pause, then she adds: ] Or your skill level. Honestly, I function best as team support and I barely broke a sweat.

[ She sighs, then thinks.. ] Then you're going to have assignments. If you complete one, I'll fight you. Does that sound fair?

Re: Voice
Bring it on Ice-sensei, I'll fucking crush those paragraphs into nothing!
Voice
We'll start off easy then. One page about why you want to be a hero.
Voice
...Fine. [Just one page? He can do that.]
