Weiss frequently worked long hours in the Guardian's office. It wasn't as though she didn't want to take time off- she did, but there was a lot at stake. Especially now. There was one time of the day, however, that Weiss never neglected: her coffee run. Sure enough, every day at the same time she intentionally walked a mile and a half to the shop, and a mile and a half back. As long as there wasn't an active crisis, the routine was soothing and made sure that she got a nice, relaxing stretch to try not to think about work.

What she didn't normally see on her trip was Lucy and Natsu. So when she heard their voices from her spot in line, she turned around with a surprised look on her face.

"What are you two doing here?" She didn't recall seeing them in Nova City often, that was for sure.
