It isn't as though I trust those spirits any more than I trust him, though- if what they were doing was right, they wouldn't be trying to keep it a secret still. If there's one thing I've learned it's that when someone has done something wrong, they regret it unless they still think they might continue to do it. I'd be willing to trust anyone from Fairy Tail but the spirit that told them in the first place I'd be disinclined to consider a reliable source, regardless of Lord Tepes's stances. The barriers may be protecting us from the outside world, but they're also keeping us trapped in here. I know what it's like to be stuck some place only able to hear what the people in charge want you to know. It makes it impossible to make decisions on your own and even harder to exist outside of what ideas they want you to hear.
That's.. the individual who came out the first time the spirits broke through, before I was here, right? Sun told me about him. There wasn't any other evidence about what happened to him from the time of the first breach?
[ As for the wish, Weiss's... options, it's nothing she really has a reason to hide, she just doesn't bring it up unless asked. If it were about her father she'd be a lot more hesitant to say anything. It's not like letting someone she knows is a good person know about people she cares about that are worlds away is something she has a reason to hide. ]
At any rate, even if neither of those were options, I'd still try to choose something small like that. Anything truly worth having has to be earned, not handed to you because you traded in some trinkets.
